K4LLA Walton Gibson: Harvest, AL USA

This is my 4 element beam for 10 meters built with the DX Engineering insulated element brackets and 1:1 balun. Elements are tapered aluminum tubing from Texas Towers. The hairpin match is home made but similar to the one DX Engineering sells.

Computer optimized for a 15 foot boom at 9.0 dB maximum gain and 20 dB front-to-back over the ground at 30 feet. I can't install a tower here so a guyed telescoping mast is the best I can do.

This antenna has shown astronomical performance compared to the vertical I was using before. There is absolutely no comparison. I heard signals on this beam that just didn't appear on the other.
